Where does the data come from?
Directly from USPTO published patent applications (pre-grant publications), refreshed daily via official USPTO open data feeds. We send you the publication — title, number, assignee, CPC classes and a link to the full document.
How is this different from Google Patents alerts?
Google Patents alerts are tied to a Google account and cover broad patent activity. Patent-Alert is built specifically around USPTO application publications, with CPC-class, assignee and inventor filters, a digest format designed for quick scanning, and zero account management on your side.
How do I manage or delete my monitors?
Every email contains a “Manage my monitors” magic link — no password. From that page you can edit keywords, change filters, pause, delete, or export (Pro) any monitor in one click. The page also lets you add new monitors up to your plan limit.
How do I unsubscribe?
One click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, and you’re done — per monitor or from everything. No forms, no “are you sure?” dark patterns. Fully CAN-SPAM compliant.
How do payments, receipts and taxes work?
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They process the payment, apply applicable sales tax/VAT, and send proper invoices. You can update your payment method or cancel anytime through the billing link in any digest.
Can I change my keywords or filters later?
Anytime. Open “Manage my monitors” from any email, hit edit, save. Changes apply to the next digest — no need to create a new monitor.
